Serge Letchimy, président du conseil exécutif de la CTM, a effectivement envoyé un courrier à François Bayrou, le Premier ministre, pour attirer l’attention sur l’ampleur du trafic de drogue en Martinique. Ce courrier met en évidence les 32 tonnes de cocaïne saisies en Martinique en 2024, représentant 60 % des saisies nationales. Dans ce courrier, il demande des moyens supplémentaires pour lutter contre ce phénomène, soulignant la nécessité d’une coopération renforcée entre le gouvernement national et les autorités locales.
